Trainee Mould Maker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Trainee Mould Maker to join our team. As a Trainee Mould Maker, you will work closely with experienced professionals to learn and develop the skills necessary for mould making in the carpentry industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in mould making and have a passion for working with their hands.

Responsibilities:

- Assist experienced Mould Makers in the manufacture of timber moulds

- Learn to operate and maintain various tools and woodworking machinery used in timber mould making

- Study and interpret technical drawings, and specifications

- Learn to fabricate, finish mould components to precise specifications

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to mould production

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

- Basic knowledge of carpentry processes is preferred but not mandatory

Skills:

- Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with precision

- Ability to follow instructions and learn new techniques quickly

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
