Trainee Nurse Colposcopist

Colposcopy is based within The Womens Health Unit where a number of out-patient clinics provide person centred care for women with a wide variety of gynaecological needs. These clinics include urogynaecology, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and the termination of pregnancy service. The gynaecology outpatient department is also attached to the unit and nursing care rotates throughout the two departments. Although usual hours of work for the womens health unit are from Monday to Friday 08:00- 17:30 (times dependent on clinical sessions allocated) there may be occasional requirement for weekend and evening clinical sessions.
