Are you a recent graduate with a passion for photography and a keen eye for breaking news? BANG Media is looking for someone to join our Picture team at Famous Pictures as a Trainee Photo Editor.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to attend premieres, red carpets, and concerts to photograph the world’s top celebrities, adding an extra layer of excitement to your role.
Responsibilities:
- Working quickly and accurately on breaking news and daily stories, collaborating closely with editors
- Attending premieres, red carpets, and concerts to photograph celebrities
- Anticipating photographic needs as stories develop
- Following department guidelines
- Sourcing user-generated content on social media platforms
Skills and Experience Required
Requirements:
- Knowledge of web tools and programs, including content management systems, Photoshop, FTP, and social media platforms
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Demonstrating an understanding of different platforms and audiences
- Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
