Production Technicians to work within a thriving plasma technology business in Severn Beach, near Bristol. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong teamwork culture where you will be building precision equipment that is used at the forefront of scientific research and development.
- £28,000 plus shift allowances [10% of basic for morning and 25% for afternoon shifts] - works out to £32,900 per annum basic
- Monday - Friday, early / afternoon shifts rotate weekly
- Great overtime rates
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

About the job
- Work on the assembly build of high-tech, cutting edge products
- Build systems, sub-assemblies and piece parts for complex systems
- Ensure that the requirements of the BOM and the customer specification are achieved
- Identify and resolve build problems
- Report technical issues and record using the FRACAS process
- Set an example of the highest level of build cleanliness, house keeping and Health and Safety issues within the build areas, and support and promote 5S initiatives

The right candidate
- Time served Electrical apprenticeship or City and Guilds part 3, or HND, HNC, or BTech level 3
- Detailed wiring skills to precision level, including lead free soldering
- Confident panel wiring to schematics
- Able to read electrical drawings
- Able to fault find and implement corrective action
- Good communication skills.
