Hours: 37.5 hours per week during service opening hours which are: Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm Friday 8am-5pm Salary: £25,147 - 27,596 per annum (NHS AFC Band 4) Location: Warrington Talking Therapies, Ribban Court. 20 Dallam Lane Warrington WA2 7NG This role is fixed term for 12 months About the role You will offer a range of effective treatment and support available to people with common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety and extend this support to provide psychological intervention services to adults with an intellectual/learning disability who have concurrent common mental health problems. Please note: It is a requirement of the role, that successful candidates seek BABCP accreditation within 6 months of relevant patient contact and qualifying. About you You will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people and have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills. You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs, and experience of working with mental health, physical health, learning needs and substance misuse issues would be an advantage for this post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required to build good therapeutic relationships with clients You will be able to demonstrate high standards in written communication as well as excellent verbal communication including telephone skills. You will also be able to evaluate and put in place the skills and knowledge that you are provided as part of the training and development opportunities included in this role.
It is essential that you hold a health-related degree. Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy or within a psychological therapy would be desirable.
