Trainee Sales Executive

Traditional Norfolk Poultry is one of the leading suppliers of premium tier poultry products to multiple retailers in the UK. Based in East Anglia, we specialise in rearing free-range chickens and turkeys to high welfare standards and supplying supplying quality products to our customers.

Due to continued growth and future ambitions of the business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Sales Executive to join the sales team bases at our production site and head office in Shropham, Norfolk.

We are looking for someone who wants to pursue a career in food retail customer account management. You will need to have confident communication skills, drive and ambition. Also, a proactive approach and the ability to develop strong working relationships with customers. The role involves working cross functionally internally and externally to help grow the business and achieve goals.

Working closely with the Sales Director and Business Development Manager, you will be fully supported during training. We are offering strong career prospects with the opportunity to progress to the position of National Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop customer accounts.

- Sales reporting, marketing information, presentations and other related administration requirements.

- Customer supply chain.

- Support the product development function which involves new products, changes to existing products, packaging design, artwork approval and customer samples.

- Achieve company goals and objectives.
