Do you have a background in steelwork, looking to progress off the tools into an Estimating role, within a specialist company which provides and end-to-end service for reputable clients into Construction, where you will be provided with excellent training and development, with fully funded qualifications to ensure you consistently upskill in your role?

Are you ready to kickstart career as a Steelwork Estimator, where you will be an integral part of a close-knit team, playing a crucial role in the pre-construction process involved in producing high quality infrastructures, with a company that provides smart solutions on a large scale from structural beams to intricate architectural components?

You will be responsible for evaluating, producing and submitting estimates for the architectural steelwork, working on company projects from conception to completion, adding direct value to a highly successful company.

The Role:

• Reading and understanding drawings and sketches, task descriptions and proposal documents to provide quotations
• Provide reliable and accurate estimates for materials, transport, equipment hire and labour for construction projects
• Assess tender bids, and create tender packages for clients.
• Liaising closely with other departments and working with the supply chain to refine internal cost estimates, store relevant documentations and provide quotes

The Person:

• Background in steel / metal work
• Ability to read technical drawings
