Trainee Transport Planner/ Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a Trainee transport planner/ warehouse operative

Hours: Monday to Friday of 6am - 3pm with an hour for lunch

Salary: GBP22,000 - GBP24,000

Job Duties:

• Create efficient and compliant daily delivery plan to maximise the vehicle productivity of our collection and delivery fleet• Work in accordance with required KPI's to ensure service delivery in line with expectation.• Handle day to day queries related to driver challenges • Liaise with the Collections (Input Customers) and Trunking Co-Ordinator to ensure that the delivery plan fully supports the customer collection plan each day• Operational warehouse • Previous experience in a similar role in the logistics sector• Knowledge of the geography of the local area to aid efficient vehicle planning• Methodical approach to work with strong attention to detail• Highly organised and excellent time management• Strong customer care focus • Good interpersonal skills • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team• Computer literacy essential and able to use Microsoft Office and learn new systems
