Your challenge
Brief Role Objective:
This entry level role is an outstanding starting point for a career in Wealth Management. This is an opportunity to learn about financial markets, different asset classes, investment products and how to construct diversified portfolios for private clients.
The trainee will provide general and administrative support to one of the Partners /Wealth Manager, ensuring that clients receive first class service. You will be responsible for ensuring that administrative, organisational and client related tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and timely manner. You will have regular contact with the client base, dealing with their enquiries and providing support at client meetings where appropriate and you will be provided with opportunities to progress ultimately to a Wealth Manager within an agreed timeframe and subject to qualifications, eperience and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with all aspects of client contact, including ongoing and regular reporting requirements and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Ensures that all current/new client account data is complete, up-to-date and accurate at all times, this includes the writing and renewal of Investment Policy Statements. Responsible for the production of reports and presentations for e
- isting and prospective clients. Ensure that all reports/packs are reviewed for accuracy and completeness and sent in a timely manner.
- Provide all analytics for the team, including performance, asset allocation reports and capital gains.
- Manage quarterly fees and performance reporting.
- Deal with client correspondence and queries and liaise with other departments to find resolution to investment administration queries raised by clients.
- Attend client meetings where appropriate and as agreed, and participate by providing factual information and acting as the reference point for any administration queries.
- Proactively set review dates with clients and co-ordinate client visits.
- Assist in preparing pitch presentations and other materials used in meetings with clients and actively build knowledge of the targeting process.
- Build a good working understanding of Central Investment team and Wealth Planning team proposition.
- Support with projects and prospecting tasks as required.

You will join as part of the Investment20/20 programme. This will introduce you to the investment management sector where you will gain industry knowledge, eperience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in social and insight events.
This is a permanent role . You will receive 30 days’ annual leave. You will also be entitled to a 15% fleible benefits allowance on top of your salary. Our role is based in the City of London and can receive up to £300 homeworking allowance (claimed epenses) to create a homeworking set up (for eample, a desk, computer screen, keyboard and mouse).
