We are looking for an Assessor/Trainer in Carpentry to join our busy Construction and Motor Vehicle Work Based Learning department.

About the role

Assessment: Conduct assessments of learners' competency levels in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations to learners.

Curriculum Development: Collaborate with curriculum development teams to update and develop training materials and resources.

Individualised Support: Provide individualised support and guidance to learners to help them achieve their learning goals.

Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track learner progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that training programs meet quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.

Continued Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements to enhance training programs.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and relevant vocational CPD.
  • Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc).
  • Proven experience in the relevant industry or field.
  • Previous experience in vocational education and training, particularly in assessing and/or delivering training programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
