Do you want to join a leading UK manufacturer of away-from-home paper hygiene products based on Stafford Park, Telford?
We are looking for a permanent Training and Development Officer to join our growing Production team.
As a Training and Development Officer you will have the opportunity to equip our Telford workforce with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out their work activities effectively. You will oversee and organise the training of new and existing employees in all operational areas.
Being part of our head-office you will play an important role in helping us to be the market-leading partner of choice in the away-from-home tissue industry, delivering high quality products to our customers.
As a Training and Development Officer you will work Monday to Friday 09:00 - 5:00 p.m.
About the Role
As the Training and Development Officer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensure training requirements are met and documentation is completed
Organise and carry out training reviews with shift managers to identify training needs
Carry out inductions for new team members on a training plan
Update, review and maintain training records on Evotix/ Sharepoint
Risk assessment training for Operators
Write, develop and host technical classroom lessons
Create and develop risk assessments, SOP's and safe systems of work
Host and assist in the interviews of potential new candidates
General technical support for Operators and Engineers requiring assistance

Essential Skills
The ideal candidate will have experience as a training officer or held a similar role in a FMCG environment.
