We are recruiting for a Training Consultant at a successful and long established high-tech company located here on the Isle of Wight with clients worldwide.
Our client is a leading manufacturing consultancy, a Siemens and Janus Engineering partner, working on a project to deliver training solutions across the UK and also other English speaking clients across the world.
This unique opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in training, mentoring and coaching people who work with complex software solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in delivering technical training, comes from within the CAD/CAM engineering industry, or has worked as a Technical Author.
For this role you will be training clients on how to use siemens NX, most of the time the work will be remote with occasionally site visits. Clients will be within the automotive, aerospace and defence sectors. The role will involve helping to optimise and improve the clients use of NX so they can better develop their products and designs.

Main duties:
- Translate, (using translation tools and AI), training materials for Siemen’s NX and Teamcenter software from German into English in partnership with European developers.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations for use in conjunction with training materials.
- Develop Training courses for Siemen’s NX software specific to client’s needs.
- Deliver software training across the UK and Europe both virtually and in person.
- Manage training inventory curriculum and maintain the training material in line with Siemens product updates.
- Liaise and work alongside partner training development team in Germany.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in developing training courses and materials.
- Experience in delivering technical training.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Previous experience using CAD/CAM software would be an advantage but not essential.
- Strong in attention to detail.
- Industry engineering and manufacturing experience in a technical role.
Other requirements:
- Excellent presentation skills are essential.

- Proven self-starter and self-motivated to succeed.
