Job description

Who are Bumper?

Please allow us to blow our own trumpet for a minute... We've built a customer-centric product that is a market leader, and we are smashing it!

We're a multi-award-winning digital payments platform within the automotive industry. We work with over 4,000 automotive retailers, helping drivers to pay for motoring costs, accessories and other services through a variety of different payment options.

Bumper is a fast-growing payments scale-up and we’re excited to continue building on our growth having recently completed a successful Series B funding round. We’re looking to hire a dynamic and passionate Training & Engagement Executive, working remotely.

Our Head Office is in Sheffield City Centre, and we have offices also based in London and Turkey. We've recently brought retailers in Germany, Spain and the Netherlands on board, and plan to expand further into Europe and beyond - world domination here we come!

A bit about the role...

We are excited to begin the next phase of our growth and are looking for a dynamic and ambitious customer service professional to join our growing team as a Training & Engagement Executive across our national network, working remotely. You will be an ambassador for the brand and passionate about establishing Bumper as the No.1 partner of choice to a range of clients and customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • You’ll identify users that require support and contact them to improve performance
  • You’ll identify and contact dormant sites and garages
  • You will provide install training to ensure users understand the value proposition and drive user adoption rates
  • You’ll offer retraining sessions with existing users to reactivate and energise their use of the product
  • You will conduct follow-up sessions in the form of Q&A’s and 1:1 or group refresher sessions to ensure our customers and users get on-going support
  • You’ll deliver training sessions remotely with occasional onsite client visits
  • You will work closely with the sales team to identify key users and partners for training sessions and general support
  • You’ll be targeted on the quality and volume of training sessions and calls you deliver and you’ll ask for client/user feedback to continue to improve our training offer

Now a bit about you

We are a passionate and professional team, and are looking to hire a customer service/training professional, or sales advisors with a shared interest in our scale-up journey and with the aim to embed Bumper as the No.1 payments platform in Europe.

This position is currently being offered on a fixed-term contract for a minimum of 12 Months, we are open to considering candidates on either a full-time or part-time basis.

What we are looking for in you:

  • You’ll have a successful track record as a customer service professional, sales advisor or trainer
  • You can evidence your experience of offering support and training on new software products or customer relationship management systems
  • You’ll ideally have previous experience of delivering presentations to clients and customers
  • You will be proficient in the use of MS PowerPoint
  • We expect you to have a professional knowledge of communication tools and software such as MS Office suite and Slack

What you'll get from us...

  • Basic salary of £30,000 per year (salary dependent on experience)
  • Performance based bonus up to 15%
  • We give 26 days holiday + bank holidays, plus volunteer days throughout the year
  • Private Healthcare and Medicash plan with Vitality
