Job description

Hays are hiring for a Transaction Reporting Analyst to join a Bank in London for a 6 month period. As a team they cover MIFID, EMIR and SFTR, so experience across 1 or 2 of those regulations would be ideal. Candidates will also need to have a strong data background, as strong Excel skills will be needed.
Main responsibilities will include;

  • Responsible for ensuring that our reporting obligations are met.
  • A strong working understanding and knowledge of Regulatory Reporting requirements framework across MiFID, EMIR & SFTR
  • Experience in using Message Automation platform and DTCC / Univista trade repository tools
  • Remediation & Resubmission of any daily transaction / collateral update / valuations / collateral re-use rejections within the Regulatory deadline
  • Front to back reconciliation on reportable fields between internal systems & trade repositories / ARM
  • Resubmission / remediation of any transactions to the trade repository
  • Exchange UTI with counterparty as required
  • Support our clients with any delegated reporting requirements
  • MIFID APA trade reporting: Real-time monitoring of the Trax/Bloomberg/TradeEcho MiFID II Trade & Transaction Reporting GUIs.
  • Involvement with Regulatory Project work as required such as EMIR Refit
  • Standardise any operations tasks and embedded into the consolidated Trade & Transaction Reporting procedure.
  • Any project related experience, such as business analysis beneficial.
  • Any management experience of a Transaction Reporting function beneficial.
    To be successful in this role you will need to have expertise in the following;
  • Relevant Transaction Reporting experience across MiFID, EMIR or SFTR
  • Advanced Excel
  • Understanding of control and reconciliations
