Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Tax Director (or current Senior Manager / Associate Director) with experience in managing tax aspects of large infrastructure transactions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-level tax advice and driving the success of complex infrastructure projects. This role requires a deep understanding of the infrastructure sector, strong technical tax knowledge, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tax aspects of large infrastructure transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing.
• Provide strategic tax advice to clients on complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and laws.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for infrastructure investments and transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
• Conduct thorough tax due diligence and risk assessments for potential infrastructure deals.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting the infrastructure sector and advise clients accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing ongoing support for their tax needs.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications and experience:

• Professional certification such as ACA or CTA
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant tax experience, with a significant focus on transactions within the infrastructure sector.
• Proven track record of managing and advising on large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and expertise in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
