Who we are looking for
A Transfer Agency specialist, at Senior Associate level, to join our Transfer Agency team. You will be responsible for collecting and processing complex data, exercising due diligence as well as reviewing and implementing strict data quality processes. You will also be required to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant work processes alongside a broad understanding of related and interfacing activities to provide effective management of Transfer Agency.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
You’ll be working within the UK Transfer Agency department and directly reporting to the Line Manager. You will be accurately delivering high quality service both internally and externally by incorporating experience and industry knowledge in the daily workflow:
  • Initially you will be a key part of a larger project team in establishing a new Transfer Agency team in the UK. You will have responsibilities for the operational readiness of the new team and be expected to transition to a functional lead role once the project goes live
  • Participate in data preparation and review, including but not limited to checking and sign-off during control process
  • Assume responsibility for the efficient day to day running of the group acting as a source of technical expertise
  • Manage resources to ensure all queries and tasks for all Transfer Agency function are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, policies and regulatory requirements
  • Foster an environment where team members are inspired, developed, trained, coached and mentored to bring them to a high standard of knowledge and quality, making use of the Training Pathways provided
  • Promote risk awareness, assessment and control within the department
  • Communicate relevant information as appropriate up and down the line and escalate where necessary
  • Attend and contribute to operational, risk and audit meetings as required, and actively contribute to Transfer Agency wide projects and focus groups, ensuring open communication
  • Work closely with the other departments within State Street locally and Transfer Agency Units globally
  • Implement and review processes to meet the changing requirements of our clients and improve efficiency

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Economics
  • More than 5 years’ experience of analyzing and evaluating complex data
  • Transfer Agency / Financial Services experience and detailed understanding of procedures
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially an advanced level of Excel
  • Administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure
  • A clear and analytical methodical approach to problem-solving; organization skills for oneself and others; willingness to assume additional tasks in order to share workload within team/department; meet tight deadlines with initiative and team-oriented spirit
  • Excellent communication skills - Fluent in English
