Detective ConstableSerious and Organised Crime Unit

Applications are sought for the role of Detective Constable within the Serious and Organised Crime Unit based at Shrewsbury. Please note that this advert is for one vacancy, with another post to become available shortly after.
Desirable skills to be considered alongside the role profile will include:

  • Qualified Detective PIP Level 2 or willing to work towards that accreditation, with a minimum of 2 years Police service.
  • Must display the highest levels of integrity.
  • Need to demonstrate creativity, skill and determination to tackle those involved in Organised Crime.
  • Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and capacity to deal with complex investigations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, able to work independently and within a team
  • Be qualified in, or willing to undertake training to become qualified in surveillance techniques.

Should interviews be required to select a suitable candidate, these will be held in Shrewsbury on a date to be confirmed.
