Job description

Job Description

Are you experienced in ‘activating strategy’?  Moving ‘vision’ into ‘action’?

The Transformation Strategy Activation Senior Manager will be vital in translating National Grid Electricity Distribution’s long-term strategy into a clear, compelling, and enterprise-wide transformation.  You’ll ensure the operating model is aligned and fit to deliver our Electricity Distribution target-state vision and business outcomes.

Our UK energy system continues to change rapidly and fundamentally on the path to net zero by 2050. National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) plays a pivotal role in this: building the network to electrify homes and businesses, unlocking new capacity and potential in our existing grid infrastructure, designing flexible networks to cope with varying demand, and engaging with local communities to support their local transition to net zero. If there is one change that consumers will connect with daily, it will be the transport transformation, and this places a big responsibility on the Distribution Network Operators to ready the network and install the infrastructure required at pace and at minimal cost.
