Transition Administrator
- Temp with a view to going permanent

- Poole location with free parking on site
- Hours are Monday to Friday
- 8.30am to 4.30pm could be some flexibility on these timings
- 37.5 hours per week
- £12.00 per hour pay rate

About the role for the Transition Administrator-
Dealing with New referrals:
Communicating with parents/carers to keep updated
Write consultation reply's
Collect student information/files/Getting documents from external parties/other education sites and filing
Organising new student info on SharePoint
Organise transition days with parents and tutors
Run transition days, on the day
Send who's who, social story and newsletters before transitions
Send transition doc to tutors and MDT and make sure they complete it
Accompany students on first transition sessions introduce them to tutors and support staff
Arrange tours/show people around
Coordinate students pack, manage the collating of information from students pack into designated areas on Sharepoint
Work on planning and timetabling annual reviews :
Invite people to annual reviews
Organise paper work and IT for annual reviews?
Set up room and IT equipment for annual reviews
General admin tasks-
Creating posters, leaflets, marketing material as directed by the line manager- once posters are up, keeping them up to date
Send out letters and group emails to parents/carers/staff groups?
Keep all contact sheets up to date
Supporting the keeping of information up to date on websites - working with line managers
Contacting parents if there are sudden changes
To carry out additional duties and tasks that may be required within the range of the responsibilities of the post.

Skills required:-
- Must have excellent IT skills, to include Excel
- Be an excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Lots of empathy
- Understand safeguarding
- Would suit someone who has been an administrator for a school/college or within the care sector/Public sector or a charity organisation.
