Your new opportunity
Quarriers Youth Housing Support Service provides support to young people between the ages of 16 – 25 to assist with tenancy sustainment.
We are looking for a Transition Mentor (28 hours) to support young people to independently sustain a tenancy - to make positive lifestyle choices and determine a brighter future for themselves. Working mostly throughout Stranraer however cover to Dumfries and Galloway will also be required.
The hours for this role will be between 9am - 5pm (Monday - Friday). Shifts will be arranged with the successful applicant.
This is a temporary maternity cover contract.

- Ability to build trusting long-lasting relationships
- Empathy and excellent communication skills
- Excellent team player
- Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
- It is essential for the successful candidate to have a driving license
