Transmission Overhead Lines Operative

Electricity North West is looking for a Transmission Overhead Lines Operative to join an inclusive team in Oldham. This full-time role offers a salary of up to £38,789.81 per year, depending on skills and experience, plus excellent benefits.

As an authorised Transmission Overhead Line Worker, you will be required to work on the Electricity North West overhead electricity transmission network. As part of a Team, you will participate in construction, maintenance, inspection and fault-finding activities in line with your level of authorisation.

To apply for this role, you will need to be in possession of a full UK driving licence and be willing to work outside in all weathers. You will also need the following:

• An understanding of safety systems and the importance of risk assessments - essential
• Be customer focused with the ability to communicate clearly essential
• Be willing to work outside in all weathers with some anti-social hours essential
• Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent essential
• Relevant City & Guilds level 2 qualification desirable
• Be well organised, self-motivated and happy working as part of a team - essential
