Our client is currently seeking to appoint a Transport Administrator to join their successful team based in Felixstowe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with transport administration experience to work for a leading business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collate and process drivers’ weekly wages, gain management approval and pass to payroll
· Collate and control weekly vehicle costs matrix
· Process and provide weekly profit and loss reports for own vehicle operations
· Collate and control weekly fuel stock levels
· Ensure up to date insurance and compliance records are maintained in the computer system for approved haulage suppliers
· Raise weekly invoices to customers and self-bills and confirmation notes for suppliers
· Approve haulage suppliers’ invoices in computer system for payment
· Process fleet suppliers’ invoices and present to management for approval
· General office support and working with team members
Required Skills:
· Previous experience within haulage
· Computer literate - TOPS experience is desirable
· Analytical and accurate
· Problem solving skills
· Proactive and driven
