SalarySmart Solutions are looking to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator for one of our largest Manufacturing clients in Baglan, Port Talbot. Our client has seen significant growth, and looking to expand their transport team. This opportunity offers career progression and much more.
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 Hours per week, Monday-Friday (8:30-16:30).
Main Responsibilities of the Transport Administrator:
- Processing Transport invoices and deal with Invoice query emails
- Managing/transfer transport costs in SAP (internal database)
- Check the logistic suppliers’ invoices periodically and manage credit and debit notes
- Support the Transport Office Supervisor in the negotiations with logistic suppliers according to the guidelines.
- Support the Transport Office Supervisor in the systematic assessment of the quality in the transporters’ service
- Support the corporate depts. requiring assistance on topics of distribution logistic
- Guarantee the correct management of relevant processes in accordance with the group policies and procedures
Requirements of the Transport Administrator:
- Strong administrative experience, ideally with a transport or logistics background
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills
