Job description

We are looking for a Fleet Compliance Administrator to join our Essex based client to oversee the operation and maintenance of their small fleet of vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.

This is a very busy role where proactivity is key, you will be dealing with a lot of compliance and paperwork, and preparing for Audits so previous administration is essential as well as a high level of accuracy.  Ideally you will be from a Fleet/Transport or Rail background, and you must be in a commutable distance to Purfleet.

Responsibilities

New Driver Administration, including issuing of Contracts of Sponsorship, driver Cards, Sub-Sponsor Agreements, training, De-sponsorship etc. and New Starter Checks

Providing induction briefing including the FORS Scheme Rules

Coordinating alcohol and drugs screening - pre-appointment/sponsorship, annual unannounced random, periodic, for cause, post-incident

Administration of fleet related suppliers and consumables invoices, FORS training and assessment

Administer Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Schedule for owned equipment and safety critical equipment and vehicles.

Ensuring that the management of working hour’s process complies with client infrastructure rules.

Enacting the Local Investigation process where any suspected breach of the FORS Scheme Rules becomes apparent.

Hosting the FORS audit with the assistance of the HSQE Advisor.

Administration of vehicle purchasing, registrations, V5Cs, service, MOT, repair, tyre & fuel use etc

Administration of driver training including FORS / TfL awareness training

Driver performance monitoring – driver license checks, fixed penalty administration, driver re-training and warning letters etc.

Requirements

Experience in a compliant administration role

Strong organisation and Proactive

Excellent communication skills

High Attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to manage your time and workload effectively
