Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading logistics company, for a Transport Coordinator. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s office in South Lanarkshire.
Becoming a vital member of the team, you will be tasked with liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer goods are transported in an efficient and safe manner. Full training will be provided to give you the best tools to be successful in the position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Tracking customer orders
- Creating bookings and dealing with customer enquiries
- Track and monitor shipments.
- Ensure compliance with customs and legislation.
- Providing quotations
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Previous experience working within a fast moving Administrative or Customer Service position is beneficial.
