As the Transport Manager you will be at the forefront of our clients logistics and transportation operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and managing a team.
- Make sure the department runs smoothly.
- Scheduling deliveries.
- Manage fuel cards.
- Recording all tachograph information
- Arranging inspections for vehicles and cranes
- Ensuring compliance
- Ensuring compliance of driver hours
- Managing drivers and ensuring high level of customer service
- Accident management
- Checking goods being delivered
- Manage congestion charge.
- Make sure all safety checks/systems are being enforced.
- Responsible for the implementation of Health and Safety regulations
- To adhere to Health and Safety standards
- Thorough knowledge of manual handling guidelines
