AddressBrightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer for a Transport Manager. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s site in Glasgow.
This is a Monday – Friday role, however flexibility is required to meet business demands. Becoming a vital member of the team you will be tasked with leading and developing the wider transport team and managing company fleet and budgets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to transport team.
- Drive a positive health and safety culture, adhering to company compliance and legislation.
- Vehicle management
- Develop and implement vehicle maintenance plan.
- Communication with drivers
- Meet company operating licence obligations.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Experience in a similar role
- CPC in Transport Management
- IT Literate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
