Form of workTransport ManagerDromoreMonday - FridayDo you have extensive experience in transport management?Are you highly organised with attention to detail and can work to tight deadlines?Benefits Package * Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm * Fridays 8am – 3.45pm * £38K - £42KCompany Details * Large company based nationwide * Specialise in logistics and industrial as well as construction industriesAs a Transport Manager, you will be required to: * Co-ordinate internal third-party equipment being shipped & transported worldwide. * Ensuring transport staff deliver the needs of customers in line with any guidance and Brexit requirements. * Build viable loads maximising load space using weights and dimensions as well as effective route planning. * Research and plan new routes to existing destinations regularly. * Source new suppliers and renegotiate terms with existing suppliers and remain competitive. * Assist with any haulage issues. * Communicate with other departments internally.Experience / Skillset required for this role * Extensive experience in transport management within a large distribution environment. * Previous experience using a CRM system. * Solid knowledge and experience of the logistics process. * Forward planning skills with the ability to problem solve in pressured situations * Experience of data entry * Highly organised and good geographical knowlege
