SalaryThis established transport business is looking for a strong Transport Planner to join their team in Liverpool. This is a fast paced role that will make best use of all your experience to get the job done.
Reporting into the Transport Planning Manager this is an extremely busy role making best use of own fleet and planning loads throughout the UK and Europe to deliver goods OTIF as efficiently and profitably as possible.
In order to be successful in this role you will have strong Transport Planning experience UK based and to Europe, great communication skills working with customers, drivers and colleagues alike. You must also have strong problem solving skills, be able to work on your own initiative and be used to dealing with and managing drivers. The right type of person for this role will be confident in their skills and abilities, effective working under pressure and able to stand on their own two feet.
This role offers a good challenge working with established customers and the ability to put your ideas and experience into practice. With a supportive, knowledgeable Team you will be able to develop your skills and further your experience enhancing your career as you go.
