We are recruiting for a busy and well established Transport company in the Norwich area. Our client has a rare opportunity for someone to join their team. You will be planning circa 100+ vehicles UK wide.
Duties include:
- Planning the fleet for collections and deliveries to collection /delivery times and optimising vehicle/driver utilisation
- Planning in vehicles for service as per company service requirements
- Tracking and ensuring drivers are on track with their deliveries and collections
- Dealing with any problems drivers may have while out on the road, liaising with the end customer if and when necessary.
Making sure all road transport legislation and WTD are being adhered to.
The right candidate will have
- Traffic planning experience (at least 3 years)
- Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background
- Good geographical knowledge
