Job Description
The role of Transport Planning Supervisor will involve:
- Overseeing and managing the strategic planning process.
- Delivering cost savings and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Analysing and reporting data.
- Evaluating and improving existing planning strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Creating and delivering detailed reports on logistics operations.
- Training and mentoring junior planning staff.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transport Planning Supervisor should have:
- A track record of successfully leading teams.
- Experience in logistics planning within the transport and distribution industry.
- Superb data analysis and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of logistics software and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
Preferred:
- Experience using Paragon and/or SAP.
