Transport Refrigeration Engineer
Full Time | Ballymena
Salary: £32,500+ depending on experience
BeyondHR are assisting our client Technical Transport Products in recruiting a reliable and self-motivated Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join their team.

About The Role
The Role
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will join our team of Transport Refrigeration Engineers to help meet the needs of our customers both on and off-site. The role duties include:
The installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of Transport Refrigeration units.
Undertaking professional training within the Thermo King network and self-development through the Certi-tech certification process.
Liaising with our Ballymena hub regarding job start and completion times, downtime and overtime authorisations.
Completing all relevant paperwork and keeping the Service Department informed.
Performing other duties and projects which correspond to the general character of the position.
Ensuring adherence to company procedures in line with our Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Apprentices and/or engineers during training may be supervised where applicable.
Ensuring relevant safety checks are carried out on the company van on a daily basis.
Additional information
The hours of work are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30am - 4:00pm on Fridays. Beyond these core hours, the successful applicant must be flexible as a call-out rota is in operation amongst the Refrigeration Engineer Team.
