This is an exciting role for a Transport Planner, Logistics Coordinator or Distribution Scheduler who is looking to take a step into a supervisory role with a long-term view of joining a management team.

As part of a highly efficient transport operation that focusses on exceeding customers' expectations and giving the highest levels of customer service, across Northern Ireland you will be overseeing 2 Transport Planners and a diverse team of professional drivers.

Ideally, you will have good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland, previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience, great organisational skills and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment. You will also need experience in the transport industry.

The Role:

• Routing & Scheduling of HGV's
• Planning in compliance of EU Tachograph Regulations & WTD
• People Management- Sickness, Holidays, Absences, Rota's, etc
• Assisting in Driver induction and Training
• Assisting Incident investigation
• First point of contact for customer/department issues

You will need:

• Transport/Distribution/Logistics background
• Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
• Understanding of EU tachograph regulations & WTD
• People Management experience would be an advantage
• A Professional HGV Licence would be desirable but not essential
