Transportation Industry Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Industry Leader to support our growth plans across the UK business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development and client engagement within the transportation sector. You will collaborate with various teams to develop value propositions, produce collateral, and support sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop value propositions on the big transport themes and translate them for the mid-market audience.
  • Collaborate with the knowledge management team to produce collateral, insights, data, and case studies.
  • Support sales on Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Lead, develop, and drive the Industry Practice proposition and growth plans across the UK business aligned to the Risk Management, Corporate and Consumer & Commercial client segments and the Specialties.
  • Lead collaboration and co-creation across the wider Marsh McLennan businesses on value propositions and solutions relevant to the Industry Practice.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Support colleague’s understanding of their client’s businesses and lead delivery across the firm.

Required Experience:

  • Industry knowledge of the Transportation sector, with specific expertise across logistics, fleet, and last-mile delivery.
  • Insurance product knowledge gained from experience in either insurance brokers, carriers, trade bodies, or relevant industry consulting companies.
  • Credible executive presence and project leadership required to drive projects and campaigns to successful completion with minimal supervision.
  • This is Managing Director level hire and would suit either a current MD or Senior Director level candidate. Senior Director or non-equity Partner level at a large consultancy firm would also suit.
