We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients for the role of a Travel, Accommodation and Accreditation Planner. Main Responsibilities as a Travel, Accommodation and Accreditation Planner

  • Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revise based on changing needs and requirements.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery.
  • Compile and submit project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
  • Develop excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement action plans to enable proper time, resource, and process management.
  • Close out projects - this includes evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learnings for the next project/Event.
  • Lead and develop a team of casual reports, and through this team will manage up to 1000 temporary employees on event days.
  • You will be supported in this role by both the Director of People Operations, along with their entire People Ops team and by HoD’s from various departments including HR, Finance, Events Ops, Culinary, Logistics and Procurement
  • Manage a high number of third-party relationships and partnerships.
  • You will have full financial accountability for the travel, accommodation & accreditation elements of each event budget.
  • Directly responsible for both the creation of the budget and the maintaining/ updating of this throughout preplanning stages, whilst on event and during the close reconciliation stage of the event.

Core Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a fast paced, high volume people environments such as recruitment agencies, travel companies & stadium’s / arenas, or greenfield site events.
  • Project Management experience will be vital to success in this role, and you will demonstrate great planning skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Will be able to demonstrate leadership, motivational and mediation skills, and the ability to take initiative without guidance.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including outside of normal working hours is essential as this is not a Monday - Friday operation being in the Events business.
