Pure Permanent Recruitment is seeking an experienced Travel Sales Consultant for a client based in Leicester.

Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 0900 - 1730) 1 hour for lunch

Location: Office-based (LE6, Leicestershire) during probationary period then 1 day hybrid working structure after probation.

The ideal candidate will have gained previous experience in Travel Sales and be enthusiastic about sport. 

The successful Travel Sales Consultant will be responsible for creating bespoke travel itineraries and will thrive on working with customers to fulfil their aspirations to travel out to watch live motor sport. 

Our client is the leading motor sport travel specialist, offering packages and tailor-made itineraries to motor sports events worldwide. Based in Leicestershire, they are a team of travel enthusiasts who are passionate about all things motor sport. They arrange travel packages to a wide portfolio of motor sports events including F1, MotoGP, WSBK, Le Mans, FIA WEC, Formula E, Indycar, NASCAR and Classic and Historic events.

As well as travel itineraries, they also book race tickets and hospitality packages.

Travel Sales Consultant responsibilities will include

● Putting together complex tailor-made itineraries to motor sports events worldwide based on individual customer needs

● Answering customer enquiries and providing advice and recommendations by Live Chat, email and phone

● Day-to-day sales admin including working in our reservation system and post-sales follow ups

● Managing sales prospects and carrying out regular follow-ups on enquiries, to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised

● Up selling ancillary products

● Working to sales targets on a monthly basis

● Escorting customer groups to some motor sports events

The ideal Travel Sales Consultant will hold the below experience

● A minimum of 3 years’ Travel Sales experience, preferably with experience of creating tailor-made itineraries

● Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build an excellent rapport with our loyal customers

● Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

● An interest in motor sport is preferred but not essential

● Proficient IT skills

● The ability to work as a key member of our sales team

● Willingness to travel to some motor sports events 

This role will offer a commission structure & sales incentives for the successfully appointed Travel Sales Consultant 

Annual leave entitlement: 25 days plus Bank Holiday
