• This is an opportunity to take on an important role in which you'll be providing advice to critical areas of our Treasury function on markets facing regulation
• You'll be evaluating new products to make sure that regulatory compliance risks are managed and reported
• You'll be making a critical contribution to the bank, while gaining invaluable experience and exposure in a complex organisation

What you'll do
As a Treasury Advisory Manager, we'll be asking you to provide comprehensive, non-prudential regulatory advice that supports the delivery of front office trade execution and the downstream implications to middle and back office.
Your other key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the management of Treasury non-financial risks, including conduct risk and financial crime risk, to improve the function's overall risk culture and compliance
• Performing detailed analysis on the regulatory perimeter and in-scope regulation covering MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, and MAR, supporting front office as well as trade and transaction reporting activity
• Performing horizon scanning, summarising key regulatory change updates for management and supporting change implementation
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure the alignment of policies, practices, and guidance
• Working closely with Treasury Legal on joint projects

The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with exposure to, and an understanding of regulations related to a treasury function. Crucial to your success will be your ability to summarise complex regulatory reporting requirements for the business, providing detailed opinions and practical solutions to ensure adherence to regulation.
You'll also bring:

• Experience of working on deliveries to regulators and other oversight providers
• A strong ability to offer robust challenge and compelling arguments to support a position, including articulating alternative options and their impacts
• Legal or regulatory change analysis or compliance advisory experience gained in a first or second line function
