??This role would be based at Lancaster House in Huntingdon with frequent travel to the London office. You would be required to be in the office 4-5 days per week. ?

??We're seeking an individual with a strong interest in economics and financial markets to join our team as a Front Office Treasury Analyst.

As a crucial member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the daily cash and liquidity position across The Group Structure, where we oversee approximately £9 billion of debt.

As a Treasury Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to continuously learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, developing a strong understanding of investments and debt markets.

What you'll be doing:

- Lead dealer on the daily cash funding process, executing a wide range of transactions including Money Market Funds, Deposits and a small number of FX transactions.

- Develop a good understanding of financial markets, using tools such as Bloomberg, together with an understanding of the risk metrics of the business to interpret how movements will impact business performance.

- Monitor and report upon key metrics such as inflation and interest rates to provide key information to the business and support discussions on business forecasting.

- Production and presentation of market and performance data for weekly and monthly meetings.

- Prepare and execute the monthly short-term dealing strategy, responding to market conditions for the depositing strategy, working closely with the Senior Treasury Analyst and Cash Manager to ensure the interest income budget will be delivered.

-Communicating effectively with external stakeholders such as banks and auditors as required. Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions to facilitate smooth transactions.

- Ensure the Treasury Management System is up-to-date and accurate, booking trades through the System and executing uplifts, whilst developing an understanding of the economics behind the trades.

- Perform the Front Office month-end process, updating market data in the TMS and handing over the accountants in a timely manner.

- Assessing and reviewing existing processes, suggesting improvements to streamline. Look for opportunities in the market that are permitted within Treasury Policy.

- Support the Treasury middle office team, and the treasury forecasting of cash interest in the monthly Group cash-flow forecast and consolidation process considering the implications on treasury dealing for liquidity.

What does it take to be successful?

??- Graduate, with a relevant business or economic degree

- Part-qualified Accountant; ACT qualified or part-qualified; or other relevant qualification

- Experience within a treasury function is desirable

- A strong interest in economics and financial markets

- Proven ability to react quickly to complex situations, with the ability to problem solve, assimilate, understand, and challenge, and then to resolve appropriately

- Strong interpersonal, communication and IT skills and demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve positive results?
