The difference you will make as a Treasury Controls Analyst.
The role holder will support the Treasury Controls Manager in managing the workflow and system landscape for the provision of Treasury services to the business and its subsidiaries
This will include;
- Validating and creating static data for the Treasury Management System
- Interface Control with other finance system including SUN and banking settlement software
- Treasury Management System Report Specification
- Assisting in the design and administration of the Treasury Management System
- Assess new technologies, methodology and applicable products in the financial service domain that would improve current Treasury service or operations
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in Finance preferably within a treasury team that manages complex cash operations or voluminous debt facilities. The individual must be able to demonstrate (or show the potential to learn) an understanding of cash management and treasury management systems in a company with a high volume of transactions
- Highly systems literate and able to demonstrate continuous improvement or development of information data systems
Role Profile
- Administer the Group Treasury systems These include, but are not limited to, the Treasury Management System, investment portals, on-line banking portals, PT-X BACS file management system, BACS system access with Pay.UK, market data systems and liquidity/accounting tools.
- Assist in the administration of internal treasury processes with reference to segregation rules agreed with Internal Audit.
- Support the Treasury Managers to develop reporting solutions via the SunVision Q&A tool for financial modelling to improve the capture and forecast of key business performance metrics
- Support the day to day management and administration of All Group Treasury systems, together with the related processes and documentation
- Assist the Treasury Controls Manager in efforts to improve data feeds and capture methodology for liquidity forecasting and operational cash management systems
- Assist in the evaluation of system user needs and system functionality
- Build and maintain static data in the Treasury Management system, ensuring it’s kept up to date and rectify any errors when identified
- Support continuous improvement of reports, both internal and external and help identify areas of improvement in treasury processes
- Where appropriate, support the Treasury Controls Manager with treasury related projects and other ad hoc tasks as required
- Identify and participate in relevant training to ensure skills and experience are kept up to date with developments in the banking, treasury and technology sectors.
- Provide cover for the Treasury Controls Manager during periods of absence to ensure a continuity of essential services to the business.
