Job description

Our Stoke Community Drug and Alcohol service are recruiting for a Treatment and Recovery Manager to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate about changing people’s lives for the better, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of service delivery within the Treatment And Recovery team. You will ensure the needs of service users are met and will lead to improved outcomes for people who use our services and increase our capacity to help more people. Using your strategic expertise, you will develop a plan for your Integrated Treatment service, designed to generate results and outcomes, in order to radically improve more peoples chance of getting better.

We are looking for demonstrable leadership experience in a comparable role, with the drive to promote staff development and retention. You will motivate your team to deliver exceptional services to those we support and will have the ability to connect quickly with both staff and service users, treating them respectfully and with dignity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in drug and alcohol services or other specialist settings
  • A leadership qualification or be willing to achieve this within 12 months, as well as OCN/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
  • Experience of leading and managing performance of services
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety, including assessing high-risk situations for clients
  • Experience of working with regulatory bodies such as CQC, OFSTED or Home Office Licences
  • The ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
