Treatment Room Practice Nurse

Job Description Main Duties Wound Care all aspects including suture removal and wound dressings. Vaccinations/Injections including child health vaccinations. NHS Health Checks Chronic Disease Health Checks (prior to annual review with CDM nurse) Venepuncture Ear Checks BP checks ECGs Contraception reviews if/when trained Hypertension reviews if/when trained Cervical cytology if/when trained Pessary fitting if/when trained Assisting with practice compliance of infection control. Assisting with stock control for all Treatment Room items Fridge temperature monitoring and recording Accurately recording all patient contacts in a timely manner and adhering to and completing appropriate clinical templates as per practice policy. Any other duties within scope of practice, appropriately delegated by a senior clinician.
