Tree Officer/ Tree Surveyor

The Role
To provide Specialist Arboricultural Service to the Highway Maintenance Service
The Role
Working for a National Contractor on a major highways maintenance contract in the West Midlands
* Undertake specialist inspection of Highway Trees
* Tree safety and service inspections
* Provide specialist Arboriculture advice to the Highway Maintenance Service.
* Respond to enquiries from the public, our client and internal service areas.
Raise works in our Tree Management System to fulfil our maintenance needs for both reactive and planned works
About You
* Level 3/4 qualification in Arboriculture or related discipline.
* Experience of undertaking tree surveys.
* Experience of using tree management software and mapping.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Lantra Professional Tree Inspection.
* Knowledge of current industry issues, pest and disease threats and a good understanding of Vegetation Related Subsidence to Buildings.
This role is 37 hours a week and paying between £15 and 19.73 per hour dependent on your PAY type. Mileage is at 45 pence per mileThe contract is 3 months initially but with real possibility of it rolling
