Tree Surgeon/Arborist Lead Climber

Beechwood Industries LTD are a well-established company that offers a wide variety of services to its clients including tree works, commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance. We are based in Warrington/Lymm- 2 minutes drive from the M6 and predominantly operate throughout the North West.

We are looking for Lead Climbers to join our team. Our employees enjoy a much-varied workload from technical pruning for local council/commercial/domestic clients to large scale site clearance using modern arb machinery. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is also looking to grow and progress to more advanced roles in the company.

In return for your contribution to the company you will receive-

• Pay range of £36,000.00-42,000.00 basic dependant on skills and experience. Overtime paid at X1.5 normal rate

As one of our team leaders your daily duties will be-

• Undertaking Arboricultural tasks to a high standard- Technical pruning, dismantles, felling ect
• Delegating responsibilities and tasks to other team members
• Working with other team leaders and staff to ensure a superior client experience
• Liaising with management and clients
• Contributing to the development of other employees
• Promoting a safety-first culture

Required Skills

· Proven team leader experience with a minimum of 3 years climbing

· Relevant NPTC CS units for felling, climbing and rigging ect

Desirable qualifications

• CSCS
• Operation of stump grinder
• Class 2 driving license (7.5t)
• CPCS excavator 360
• CPCS tractor
• NVQ level 3 or similar/above in Arboriculture
• Chapter 8
• First Aid
• SSSTS
