About the role
Working as part of the Triage Caller team, you will play a rewarding role in shaping the overall experience of Ascenti’s customers by moving patients through the triage process.
Triage is a medical term which describes the process of reviewing patient details and finding the right order and route to treatment for every individual.
You will have regular coaching and 121 support in your role and will enjoy working as part of a busy task focused team, with the opportunity to take home a monthly bonus (see below for more details).
Day-to-day you will speak with people over the phone who have been referred to Ascenti for treatment and will use your strong attention to detail and an understanding call manner to:
- Call patients who have been referred to Ascenti for treatment to discuss and assess their injuries over the phone.
- Make an appropriate recommendation based on the information obtained during the call and using any SLAs or guidelines provided.
- Direct patients to the most appropriate treatment pathway.
- Deal with internal queries sent by the triage administration team.
Hours and bonus
Ascenti Triage Callers benefit from a monthly target-based bonus scheme which could see you earning up to an additional £2,500pa on top of the basic salary package.
Full-time Triage Callers work Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week with a half hour lunch break. You will have to work 1 in 4 Saturdays where you will get the time back in lieu the following week.
