We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a crucial role in our organization as you will play a key part in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. Also assisting with onsite duties.
Must be willing to travel and stay overnight at least a few nights per week. Accommodation provided.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as vans, flatbeds, and trucks
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with office, customers and site staff
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
-Assist on site with assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with HGV qualification a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles including vans, flatbeds, and trucks
- Strong communication skills to interact with office, customers and site staff
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload goods from the vehicle
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
