Trust Fundraiser
A part-time Fundraiser role with a Maidstone based Charity dedicated to ensuring individuals with sight loss aren’t left behind in a rapidly advancing technological world. They provide user-friendly equipment to support those in need, often elderly, in accessing audio content, helping them participate fully in society.
The role is ideal for someone who is a proactive and experienced Trust Fundraiser, motivated to make a real impact on the charity’s fundraising mission but looking for flexibility in working hours and location.
Along with a salary of up to £29,000 pro rata, you have the flexibility to work from home and during hours of your choice, and you’ll also receive pension contributions and 25 days paid leave (pro-rata).
What you’ll do as a Trust Fundraiser?
You'll be responsible for completing and submitting trust applications on behalf of the charity to secure essential income.
You will lead the application process and manage any correspondence, ensuring timely follow up and professional communications with trust representatives.
It's essential that you have previous experience in a similar role.
The role is initially offered on a six month contract basis, but with potential for the position to become permanent, subject to funds being available.
We’re looking for a Trust Fundraiser with:
- Experience in writing trust fund applications
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong attention to details and excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Highly organised and self-motivated
Whilst you’ll be able to work remotely and set your own working hours, there is a requirement for around 3 days of in-person training when you start. This could take place in the midlands, central London, or the charity’s HQ in Maidstone.
