Trusts and Legacies Fundraiser

Location: Maindenhead

Salary: £27,507 to £33,682 per annum (pro-rata for part time)

Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week (Full Time) Part time will be considered

The Role

You will be based at the purpose-built children’s hospice just outside Maidenhead, which provides support to children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families.

Reporting to the Lead for Trusts and Supporter Engagement, you will use your research skills to identify suitable Trusts to apply to, your writing skills to create compelling applications and your people skills to develop great relationships with funders and individual donors.  

You will be the first point of contact for all legacy enquiries and help implement the legacy marketing plan.

The role also involves keeping the database up to date and showing appreciation to the supporters through by thanking them appropriately including organising events such as coffee mornings and hospice tours.

Skills and Experience

You will have experience in a similar fundraising role, or transferrable skills including customer care from another sector.

You will have excellent copywriting, creative and proofreading skills and strong analytical skills.
