BD25 Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser

Bradford district’s year of culture is set to deliver more than 1,000 new performances and events including 200+ new artistic commissions, a series of festivals and major national and international collaborations. To do this we need a team of dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic people. To do this we need a team of dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic people. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser reporting to the Trusts and Foundations Manager, to join the team. This position offers an opportunity to develop strong trust and foundation relationships with key national and local, family-controlled trusts who can support the programme at scale.

Key responsibilities:

·        Work alongside the Trusts and Foundations Manager to fundraise from trusts and foundations sources and deliver against overall team objectives.

·        Produce clear and compelling proposals, bespoke project information, engaging impact reports and other supporting materials.

·        Manage and develop relationships with identified trusts and foundations, delivering grant conditions including updates, interim and final grant reporting.

·        Keep excellent records, ensuring all application information is up to date, submissions archived, and data maintained on the CRM

·        To support the work of the Fundraising team working with on other fundraising initiatives.

You will have:

·        Understanding of relevant UK trusts and foundations who are most likely to fund BD25 programme streams and activities.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to present information that is clear and appropriate for different audiences.

·        Experience in successful bid writing.

·        Excellent organisational skills - used to working to tight deadlines, with the ability to prioritise tasks.

·        Excellent networking and interpersonal skills, accomplished in building and maintaining excellent relationships.

·        Worked in a fast paced, dynamic environment and be well organised with an ability to prioritise tasks.

•        37 hours per week worked flexibly Monday to Friday, predominantly office based (City Centre
