About Greenpeace

Your Role
As a Global Fundraising Officer, you'll play a crucial role in our Key Relationships team, working towards our goal of raising £6 million in major gifts in 2024. You'll focus on securing funding from trusts and foundations to support environmental campaigns in Global Majority countries, as well as contributing to our new capital campaign, 'Hope for the Future', aimed at raising €100 million to drive global change.
Key Responsibilities
- Building Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with donors and prospects, developing tailored strategies to maximise giving.
- Asking for Gifts: Make compelling asks for support, balancing the demand for gifts to our global capital campaign and project-specific initiatives.
- Thanking and Stewardship: Create personalised acknowledgment and stewardship plans for funders, ensuring reporting requirements are met.
- Prospecting and Research: Identify new funding opportunities and contribute to strategy discussions to increase overall income from major gifts.
