Job description

Hybrid/ remote working in Canterbury, with occassional visits to our office required.

This role is open to those with a HND Qualification or a qualification/ experience in marketing, media and/or business skills. Experience in completing successful grant applications is required. 

Responsibilities:

- Motivate and facilitate supporters to maximise the funds they raise.

- Inspire new support.

- Organise traditional fundraising activities with the Volunteer Manager and community-based fundraising Team.

- Maternity cover of managing and supporting the community fundraisers.

- Develop new fundraising activities and ideas.

- Organise events.

- Raise awareness of the charity.

- Develop and coordinate web-based fundraising, online auctions, and merchandise sales.

- Increase funds by researching and targeting charitable trusts.

- Develop and implement a strategy for individual and cooperative supporter recruitment development.

- Carry out risk analysis and balance cost ratios to focus effort on the fundraising activities.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships.

- Creativity, imagination and an entrepreneurial attitude towards funding

- A proactive attitude, drive and enthusiasm to carry out projects to conclusion.

- The capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Enthusiastic about your work and EKRCC’s mission

- Experience in similar roles
